Sending SMS to Multiple Recipients
Here are 3 options to choose from,
1) Direct Email - If you know the email address of the cell phones that you want to text message to, you can just send an email listing all the cell phones email addresses. The email address for a cell phone is the phone number plus the carrier's email extension. You can find carriers email extensions at
freesms.1888usa.com .
2) Teleflip - If you don't know the carrier, you can use the @teleflip.com extension. You can send a text message to any cell phone directly via email by sending an email to the "10-digit phone number@teleflip .com" . You can send multiple SMS messages by including as many cellphone numbers in the same email. As long as you are not sending unsolicited emails, you can send to as many recipients as you like directly from your email account. Teleflip is currently promoting a free email to cell phone service, but they still support the @teleflip service for cell phones in the US and part of Canada.

3) TextMarks - you can use a new service called TextMarks. You give everyone you want to send messages to a keyword that they send a text message to 41411. That will enable them to subscribe to your message service. Whenever you want to send a message, you can transmit messages to anyone that has subscribed to your list. Find out more at
